As of 21 August 2026, proposals of 401 scientists and researchers have been approved. 139 researchers selected for funding are female, 262 are male. 

The approved proposals come from all academic disciplines and in the most cases the (potential) host institutions are universities though proposals have been approved for a wide range of German research institutions. The majority of researchers whose proposals were approved previously worked in the United States.
